Most people think of the Internet when they hear the work Multimedia, but it really includes so much more. Any type of CD created that goes into the computer and you interact with is a multimedia piece. When we go to a certain store and use the touch-screen computers, these are called Kiosks, and these are multimedia.

The dictionary describes multimedia as using, involving, or encompassing several media. When you think about it this is really a broad terminology.

Shockwave and Flash are multimedia peices that include different medias in them.
